In this study I wanted to practice painting trypophobia material before doing it on a bigger painting I'm working on. It was meant to be a fresh and rough study where only the holes were rendered with a high level of detail. Just like in the Colorful Study I then added multiple layers of reds to hopefully achieve a juicy red look. The actual result is rather unsettling, but that's great!

All prints are presented on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Giclée paper. Frames are solid wood from sustainable sources, manufactured to high standards.
